Salzgitter AG's Automotive Initiative: On-site at Eurocarbody and IZB 2026

In October, Salzgitter AG’s Initiative Automotive will be showcasing its work at two high-profile industry events. Trade visitors can look forward to interesting exhibits related to the current transformation project.

This fall’s trade show season is all about sustainable change. As an established innovation partner to the automotive industry, the Automotive Initiative is using the renowned platforms of Eurocarbody in Bad Nauheim (October 20–22, 2026) and the International Supplier Exchange (IZB) in Wolfsburg (October 27–29, 2026) to showcase its solutions for lightweight construction and the green transition.

The event kicks off with Eurocarbody, the world’s leading conference on automotive body construction. From October 20 to 22, 2026, the international elite of automotive and development engineers will gather in Bad Nauheim, Hesse. Initiative Automotive will be represented here as part of the accompanying trade show.

The focus will be on professional exchange regarding state-of-the-art production vehicle bodies as well as future trends in materials and production. At the booth, visitors can speak directly with experts about the performance capabilities of new, high-strength grades and recyclable steel concepts.

Next, from October 27 to 29, 2026, the 13th International Supplier Exchange (IZB) will open its doors in Wolfsburg. As Europe’s leading trade show for the automotive supply industry, this year’s event will be held under the fitting theme “Powering Customer-Driven Innovation – Speed. Quality. Partnership.”

Here, the Initiative Automotive serves as a central hub for OEMs, suppliers, and technology partners who want to drive the transformation forward together.
